There is no better cardio training than interval training when it comes to weight loss. Interval training hits the body from all angles. Hitting with weights, body weight, anaerobic, aerobic and host of other methods. You will be pyramiding, going for a time limit, looking to close down distances rapidly, all the while surviving on limited rest breaks and seriously pushing your fitness to new levels.
Interval training is a high impact workout where you are bending, twisting, running, jumping, squatting in all directions – to workout the body all over in one workout. When you train in this fashion, you are essentially encouraging yourself to burn more calories to assist in weight loss. When you do full body functional workouts, you lead yourself to burning more calories. If you think about it – how is weight loss achieved?
If you watch what you put into you – that is step one. If you are doing high intensity training – that is step two. If you are cutting out of your diet the empty calories that put on weight and waste good nutrients – that is step three. If you are doing all 3 steps in your training process on a day to day basis – that is walking the path to weight loss. Weight loss is not some mystical thing, it is a scientific method that leads to great results. People who put on weight have either sat down and done nothing with themselves for a period of time or they have had a medical condition.
Weight gain more often than not, happens when people eat more than they do. If you do more than you, you don’t put on weight. Weight management then is achieved by doing interval cardio training and also through proper nutrition practices. When these 2 are combined with one another you cannot help but get great results in training. And the more you apply interval training with good nutrition and also other forms such as resistance training, you will end up with a healthy and fit body over the long term – because you understand that weight management isn’t diet, it isn’t about machines, it is about a conscientious approach to maintaining your health on a day to day basis.
True weight management doesn’t revolve around a 2 second diet program or 5 minutes a day. It revolves around real training, real nutrition and real purpose with mean.
